Interests
and Activities:
I
have a keen interest in art (history and application) and enjoy
drawing / illustrating and painting in my spare time. This has
been an interest of mine since I did a GCSE course in art in 1997.
I am an admirer of artists such as Claude Monet (I developed an
electronic gallery using Macromedia Director for a degree module
project), Dürer, Manet, Picasso and Gris. In general I am
interested in impressionism and cubism but find time to admire
other movements.
Other
than art, other interests / activities include football, which
I like to play as often as possible. Being involved in such activities
has helped develop experience of being a part of a team, something
that is also important in the workplace. I am also involved in
other sporting teams but on a smaller scale.

I
have also spent time on numerous jobs, during the summer holidays
or occasional jobs. During most summers I have worked for my father
on a building site, which was a valuable experience since there
was collaboration with other workers in the team, and also organising
and collecting materials and meeting clients. I also have worked
occasionally in a club/pub serving behind the bar, which I enjoyed
since there was face-to-face contact with customers, always a
valuable experience.
Other
than these, I have done small jobs for associates in the health
service who required IT solutions or simple letters / forms produced.
